When preparing your holiday meal, remember:
Don’t wash raw turkey in the sink or prepare it near any other foods. Prepare your turkey on a cleared counter so no other foods can be contaminated and put you and your guests at risk for salmonella poisoning.
Keep leftovers refrigerated in small containers for no more than 3-4 days. Use the oven when reheating any proteins instead of the microwave.
Provide healthy options, and balance your meal by filling half your plate with fruits and vegetables.
