Test your knowledge on what and what NOT to do for a day on the water.
Tip 1: Although you should avoid swimming after eating a large meal, you SHOULD NOT swim or exercise on a completely empty stomach. Pack a healthy snack to enjoy before getting in the water.
Tip 2: Sunblock is incredibly important to the well-being of your skin. You should ALWAYS apply sunscreen about 15-20 minutes before getting in the sun.
Tip 3: Just because you're in the water, doesn't mean that you're hydrated. Make sure to drink PLENTY of water while swimming, and avoid consuming dehydrating beverages such as alcohol.
